Relaxation oscillation in one-parameter families of Liénard equations

Abstract

In this work we study the asymptotic behavior of periodic solutions in one- parameter (λ > 0) families of Liénard differential equations, for large values of λ. Under certain conditions, we prove the existence of a relaxation oscillation, occurring upon variation of the parameter.
